Duty class decides the crane
Span and capacity are the easy part. The duty classification, the hook approach and the accessories are where a specification usually goes wrong.
Lubricant intervals shorten in Gulf heat
Grease life roughly halves for every 10 to 15 degrees C above about 70 at the bearing, so a table taken from a temperate climate overstates the interval.
Wire rope is installed, not just delivered
Reeving, tensioning and the correct terminations decide the life of the rope. We install and calibrate on site so the equipment goes straight back into service.
