Equipment and spares for Oil & Gas
Drilling equipment, wellhead instrumentation and certified devices for classified areas, supplied to operators and contractors across Qatar.
Oil and gas is the sector where a wrongly specified part costs the most, because so much of the equipment sits inside a hazardous area classification. A gauge that is mechanically perfect but carries the wrong gas group or temperature class cannot be installed, and finding that out on site is the expensive way to find out.
We work from the zone, the gas group, the temperature class and the certified ambient range before quoting, rather than from a part description. That covers drilling equipment and API valve assemblies, pressure and temperature instrumentation for wellhead and process duty, and intrinsically safe handhelds for crews working in classified areas.
What this sector orders from us
- Drilling equipment, coiled tubing and wireline tooling
- API valve assemblies and industrial valves
- Pressure and temperature instrumentation for wellhead and process duty
- Certified rugged devices and gas detection terminals for classified areas
What shapes the specification here
Certification has to match the zone
ATEX or IECEx, the gas group and the temperature class all have to cover the installation. Equipment certified for IIA cannot be used where IIC is required, whatever else it does well.
Ambient range is the quiet trap
Most certificates state 20 to 40 degrees C. Qatari summers exceed that, and equipment run outside its certified ambient is outside its certification. We ask for the extended range explicitly.
Documentation arrives after manufacture
Material certificates and test reports are produced once the equipment is built, so they belong in the schedule as their own step rather than as an afterthought.
