Overview

FYH has made pillow block units since 1950 and does little else, which is the point of it. The catalogue runs to roughly 700 standard bearings and 300 housings, held to tolerances tighter than the Japanese industrial standard so the units take high speed.

Reading an FYH number

An FYH number names the housing first and the insert bearing second. These are the codes on the FYH units we hold.

UC	Insert bearing, spherical outer surface, located on the shaft with set screws
P	Pillow block housing, which bolts to a surface beneath the shaft
F, FC	Flange housing, square and round, which bolts to a face the shaft passes through
T	Take up housing, which slides in a frame to tension a belt or a conveyor

A bearing usually has an equivalent under another brand, and the letters are where the two differ. Send whichever number is in front of you and we will identify what fits.
