American Block offers a complete line of drilling hooks engineered to meet all drilling demands. Designed for heavy-duty performance, our drilling hooks are available in load ratings from 250 to 750 tons.
Each hook is built with a high-strength alloy shank and features 8 inches of travel, 360° rotation with eight locking positions, and optional hydraulic snubber and positioner cam to automatically return the elevator to the correct position for the derrick man. All drilling hooks are designed and manufactured to API 8C standards, with ABS or DNV certification available upon request.
