Overview

INA exists because of one invention. In 1949 Dr Georg Schaeffler worked out how to guide needle rollers parallel to the axis in a cage, and patented it the following year. The result was lighter, smaller and faster than anything before it, and by 1953 no new German car was built without one.

INA and FAG are both inside the Schaeffler group today. Petrofab holds INA in Doha and quotes the rest of the INA catalogue through its supplier base.

A bearing usually has an equivalent under another brand, and the letters are where the two differ. Send whichever number is in front of you and we will identify what fits.

Ordering

Send us the INA number with the quantity. If the marking has worn off, send the bore, the outside diameter and the width, and tell us what it runs in and how hard it works. We will identify the equivalent and quote it. Quantities and delivery are confirmed on the quotation.
