Loctite 640 is a high strength retaining compound from Henkel, supplied here in the 250 mL bottle (Henkel IDH 848749). A retaining compound is applied to cylindrical fitted parts, such as a bearing or a bush on a shaft, to hold them in place. That is the application shown on the bottle label.
