Overview

NACHI-FUJIKOSHI was founded in Toyama in 1928 by Kohki Imura, on the view that Japan needed to make its own machine tools. The company built a steel mill of its own ten years later, and its bearing business grew out of that: its own material, its own heat treatment, its own cutting.

Reading a NACHI number

These are the codes on the NACHI bearings we hold.

Code	What it means
W33	A lubrication groove around the outer ring with three holes through it, so the bearing can be greased in place through the housing
E, EX	Optimised internal design, for a higher load rating than the base number
C3	Internal clearance greater than normal
