Technical detail

Overview

The AirTAC 4V210-08B-G is a single solenoid, 5 port 2 position valve from the AirTAC 4V200 series. It directs compressed air to one of two outlets to drive a double acting pneumatic cylinder or actuator, and a spring returns it to its rest position when the coil is switched off.

This version has 1/4" G threaded inlet and outlet ports, 1/8" exhaust ports and a 24VDC coil with a DIN terminal connector. The coil is rated IP65 and 100% ED for continuous duty, and a manual override on the valve body lets it be operated without power during installation and testing.

Features

  • Pilot operated sliding spool design, for good sealing and a sensitive response
  • Low friction bore finish, for a low starting pressure and a long service life
  • No lubrication needed. If lubricated air is used, keep using it, with ISO VG32 oil or equivalent
  • Can be mounted on a manifold base to build a compact valve group
  • Manual override for setting up and fault finding
